	In 2001, Shirer Burkett, an experienced technically inclined creative well versed in the principles of art direction, web design, graphic design, flash animation and film and television production, left the Global Education Network, to embark on a new career as the owner and operator of Little-Bohemia Design Studio. An educational background in the Theatre Arts from the University of Mississippi, Shirer pursued further education in the Communication Arts at Pratt Manhattan. Shirer has worked for Arnold World Wide, Soho Digital, UGO and Gill Graphic Design. She has also designed many sites for smaller businesses and individuals.
